From: Familial dilated cardiomyopathy in a child: a case report
Chest X-Ray upon admission: The cardiac silhouette is significantly enlarged. There are increased interstitial markings with cephalization of the pulmonary vessels and Kerley B lines in keeping with interstitial pulmonary edema. There is blunting of both costophrenic angles suggestive of small bilateral pleural effusions. No pneumothorax. Increased retrocardiac opacity silhouetting the medial aspect of the left hemidiaphragm, atelectatic or infectious in nature
