Sampling scheme for leukaemia patients and control probands. Saliva sampling will take place over the time of two days with sampling time points being 09:00, 13:00, 17:00 and 21:00 on two consecutive days. Blood will be sampled following the same schedule in leukaemia patients. In the control group, blood sampling will take place once. Bone marrow sampling will occur only in leukaemia patients during the first 48 h after admission in the hospital
