Solid lines represent model predictions, whereas shaded areas demarcate the 95%-prediction interval around these values (i.e., 95% of future measurements are expected to fall within these intervals). R2 values quantify the proportion of the total variability in the data the model accounts for, and p-values < 0.05 are taken to signify that the model performs better than an intercept-only model i.e., a straight, horizontal line, indicative of no growth).
