Treated hemolytic NHB newborns were exactly matched to non-NHB newborns on delivery hospital/provider, gender, delivery route (Csection or vaginal), estimated GA, and post-index health plan continuous enrollment. When the matching of delivery hospital/provider was not possible, residence zip code (5-digit) was used instead.
